Mohammed Z. Rahman shows Rolling Heart, a new installation of recent works in the Giardini della Biennale as part of the main exhibition of 61st edition of La Biennale di Venezia, In Minor Keys by Koyo Kouoh (9 May - 22 November 2026). Rahman is the youngest invited artist in the entire Biennale Arte this year.
Mohammed Z. Rahman is one of four artists of the 111 invited artists of the main exhibition of the 61st International Biennale Arte di Venezia, In Minor Keys by Koyo Kouoh, commissioned to design limited edition cups for Illy.
Mohammed debuts with Phillida Reid at Art Basel Miami Beach 2025 with Hearthside, a body of recent and new works, in a solo presentation on Booth N17, Nova (3 - 7 December 2025).
Mohammed shows with Phillida Reid at London Frieze 2025 on Booth B31 (15-19 October). Mohammed is commissioned by Frieze to create Confection (2025) to feature on the front cover of Frieze Week 2025 with an interview with Maggie Matic.
Hearthside, a presentation of new works opens in collaboration with Oitij-jo at the Whitechapel Gallery from 9 -21 September 2025.
At Home (2025), a permanent mural on Hoxton High Street is created by Mohammed Z. Rahman in collaboration with the PEER Ambassadors, local young people aged 17-25, is commissioned by PEER Gallery and Hackney Council.
Remember to Live, Mohammed's first institutional solo opens at PEER Gallery (15 Feb - 3 May 2025). The public programme features an in-conversation with Hannah Marsh, assistant curator at Tate, on 1 Mar 2025.
Mohammed is Awarded the Tate Frieze Fund at London Frieze 2024 having shown at booth B36 with Phillida Reid. Tate acquire The Lovers (2024) and The Spaghetti House (2024) into their collection.
Mohammed is commissioned to show in Bidrohi, a public art presentation of young British-Bengali artists in the historic Old Spitalfields Market, London in partnership with BUILDHOLLYWOOD (Aug - Nov 2024).
